Memorial weekend

This weekend was full of fun! Friday was jiins surprise birthday party that her best friend Boram and I threw at Boboz. Jiins was so surprised that she was almost in tears! On Sunday, my Hubz, jiin and I took ruby and mindy to Malibu. We stopped at the Malibu seafood restaurant and picked up some delicious seafood and headed to the dog beach. It was so windy that we were only able to stay until we finished our meal. Oh, and I totally forgot, before we went to Malibu, we went to west LA to check out our potential first home. I loved it!!!! It is a bit on the pricey side, but the layout was exactly how I pictured my new home. We still need to check out more places but I am in love with this one. After Malibu, we went to Vibe super club and partied until we were so hungry that we went to eat. Monday was a chill day. David, jiin and I went to eat at Gil mok and hung out at my moms place. David took a nap and jiin and I watched koreAn show programs. In the evening, we met with Chanell, her husband, and Soomin to watch men in black 3...which I fell asleep halfway through the movie. Dinner was amazing though, Chanel's husband treated us out to sushi at slow fish. The bill was close to 400. Wow. I think it was the two bottles of expensive sake they ordered. It was a great weekend and I wish it was a bit longer.

Lunch

Today at 4 am I got a call from a customer that just purchased a puppy from us. My cell number is for emergencies only!!! Not a number to call because the new puppy is whining at night. I couldn't go to sleep for a while after the phone call. Argh. SMH. I was having a cranky day and decided i wanted soup for lunch. I looked on yelp and found bento-man. I ordered a ramen and a spicy tuna roll and jiin got the bento box. After lunch, Rachel hunter came by to purchase her second dog from us...my favorite French bulldog. I almost cried when he left. I guess it's good that he found a good home, but I really wanted him. Bye my frenchie poo.

I'm hating this weather... Gloomy then sunny, then gloomy again. I've been feeling gloomy myself. David's boss didn't let us go on our honeymoon right after the wedding and told us to go in June. Unfortunately, prices of airfare and hotels are almost tripled during June until September. Sigh. So, we decided to go in September. This will be a vacation, not a friggin honeymoon. david seems a bit down too. I think he feels sorry and disappointed himself. There are other things that stress me too. Things that I don't want to talk about. Family, trust, values...priorities... Everything seems out of place since the wedding. I feel like I have gotten farther from certain people.... I guess it's just me and david now. Like pastor kim said, two plus two equals one.

Sunday funday

On Sunday, Hubz and I went to wpca to meet pastor kim so he could sign our marriage papers. Then we headed down to larchmont to meet with a realtor. My mom and cousins from korea met us there too and we had new York style pizza. Yum! Spontaneously I decided that we should all go to palm springs and we did!!! It was relaxing and fun under the sun!

Last night

Christina, Robbie, and hubs n I went to have some sashimi. Robbie and christina came from OC to sign our marriage papers for us as witnesses. Afterwards we joined grace and Sandra at Vibe to see Kevin Oppa spin. We had a great time until I drank "the 3 wisemen" I got out of bed at 3pm. Ugh... I'm so hungover.

I asked them if we should go home and they perked up their ears to listen. Sigh. I love them, especially ruby and her huge ears. Dumbo status.

Late night grub

We took a nap and I saw Chris brown in a movie eating a hotdog. Damn you Chris brown. Lol. I guess it's cheat day.

Beautiful day

Today wondae, haein, david, and I went to redondo to eat some delicious crabs!! The day was perfect and afterwards, we met up with Mira so that wondae and Mira could practice the song for the wedding. In the meantime, david and I went next door to shoot some pool. We chalked each others face every time we won. ;) we then came home and I went to workout while the couple from korea ate samgyupsal and david slept. Sigh. I hope I lose 3 lbs until Saturday!!!
